A: Yes. Providing you have a solid brick or concrete wall to attach onto and a solid concrete floor internally then you can of course fit internally. You cannot install internally if the floor is suspended as the water will come from under the void and flood.
A: Source two hardwood posts (approx. 2" x 2") to use at either side of the door opening, then attach the nylon channel to this facing inward so that the barrier can be slotted within. Adding the face-fixed hardwood posts at each side essentially creates a recess for you to fix the nylon channels onto.
A: The thickest seal supplied in the kit (20mm) is for the bottom of the barrier and is fixed permanently onto the barrier. Once the barrier is slid into the channels at each side and firmly pushed down into place, a vacuum is created, and the pressure ensures the bottom seal finds its own level, creating a watertight seal.
A: Measure the width of your door opening at its narrowest point. Our single door kit covers openings up to 970mm wide, and our double door kit covers openings up to 1830mm wide. If your opening falls outside these dimensions, contact us and we’ll advise on the best solution.
A: Our DIY kits come in two standard sizes. If your opening doesn’t match either, we’d recommend contacting us about a professionally measured and fitted barrier instead, which is cut to size on site.
A: The barrier is designed to seal against a solid concrete floor, step or door sill. It will not create an effective seal on uneven, damaged or soft surfaces. If you’re unsure whether your floor is suitable, get in touch before ordering.
A: No specialist tools are required. The kit is designed to be installed with standard DIY tools. Full step-by-step instructions are included with every order.
A: Once payment has been received in full, kits are dispatched within seven to ten working days.
